Forekomsten ligger ca. 100 m sør for Fosslivollen i glissen granskog. Vestenden av en 21 m lang og 1,5 m bred, tilnærmet V-Ø orientert dagskjæring er rett øst for stien opp til vollen. I østveggen er det blottet en 80 cm mektig jaspis med tynne bånd og laminer av magnetitt. Den har fall mot nordnordøst, og båndet grønnstein opptrer både i heng og ligg. Enkelte kvartsårer med få korn av pyritt skjærer gjennom både jaspis og grønnstein i ligg. |

Øyan er en tilsvarende mineralisering av magnetitt disseminert og i laminer/bånd i jaspis. Den er opptil 2 m mektig, og er drevet langs en 17 m lang, 1-1,5 m bred og opptil 2,5 m høy dagskjæring som er orientert tilnærmet V-Ø. Skjæring er noe gjengrodd. Grønnskifer er blottet i ligg i nord. |
