Flere mindre skjerp finnes over en bred rygg på sørsida av Gaulhåvola og nord for Fjellsjøen. Korteste vei til området er fra Storelvavollen ved veien mellom Brekken og Tydal. Hovedskjerpet er opptil 1 m dypt og har sidevegger 4 x 2 m. Sulfidmineraliserte soner finnes spredt i skjerpet og er opptil 0,5 m brede. De domineres av uregelmessige årer og aggregater av kobberkis og pyritt i granatførende, klorittrik biotittskifer. Mer massiv, finkornet meta-arenitt med rustdannelse lokalt finnes omkring skjerpet. Bergartene er uregelmessig foldet.
