| Skjerpet ligger i den bratteste lia på nordsiden av Svarthåmmåren, ca. 800 m.o.h. og består av en totalt gjengrodd grop eller skjæring, ca. 20 m i NV-SØ retning, opptil 10 m bred og inntil 3 m høy i SV. En totalt overgrodd tipphaug ligger utover lia mot nord, ca. 200 m³ materiale. Meget svak impregnasjon av pyritt og muligens noe kobberkis opptrer ujevnt fordelt i metagabbro. Gabbroen består forøvrig av 1-3 mm pyroksen og inntil 1 mm plagioklas jevnt fordelt. Dette kan derfor være en orthomagmatisk mineralisering. Enkelte tynne årer med kalsitt kutter gjennom bergarten. |
