Skjerpet ligger ute på en stor myrlendt snauflate, like ved stien mellom Veslsætra og Liveslsætra og består av en 2x2 m røsk ca. 0.5 m dyp. Mineralisering består av meget svak pyrittimpregnasjon, dels anriket i tynne striper, som opptrer i sericittomvandlet kvarts-keratofyr/rhyodacitt. Pyritt opptrer typisk i subhedrale 1-2 mm korn. Det er utviklet en lineasjon som følge av småfolding i retning 209/41, mens foliasjonen har strøk 200/(0. Mineraliseringen her ligger innenfor den samme ekstensive omvandlingssonen som skjerpet Svartåsvangen (HE0119), som ligger ca. 600 m mot sør.
