Skjerpet ligger oppe på flaten like på nordsiden av Storbekken, rett på sørsiden av traktorvei opp til Liveslsætra. Det består av en vannfylt synk med omriss 5 x 4 m. Tipphaugen på ca. 60 kbm er overgrodd, så det er vanskelig å finne materiale. Det er heller ikke mulig å se noe i kantene av synken. De få prøvene som finnes på tippen består av relativt rik pyrittimpregnasjon i sericitt-kvartsskifer, anriket i 1-3 cm bånd. Pyritt opptrer i 1-5 mm store subhedrale korn. Det er også enkelte striper med sinkblende og enkelte av pyrittbåndene inneholder en del magnetkis og spredt kobberkis. Den mineraliserte sonen opptrer i semipelittisk, granatholdig muskovittskifer. 10 m i heng opptrer vekslende mafiske og felsiske tuffitter i form av båndet klorittskifer og kvarts-feltspat-muskovittskifer. |
