Ved Vikeland er det på vestsiden av veien blottet ultrabasitt i en 10 m lang og 3 m høy veiskjæring. Den tette, finkornete ultrabasitten fører svovelkis-impregnasjon og spor av kopperkis (pr. 01 er samleprøve). Foruten som impregnasjon i uomvandlet bergart (02), er svovelkis konsentrert i karbonatårer, på serpentinbelagte slepper og i asbestårer (03). Svovelkisens kornstørrelse er 3-5 mm. Ultrabasittens sidebergaart er granitt.
