| Forkortet: Helgeland, the southern part of the district of Nordland, it situated between about 65° and 66 1/2° N. Some of the inner parts of this great district were the object of the author's investigations during the summer of 1909. Parts of this area had previously been visited now and then by geologists, though the greater part was still unknown. The accompanying map represents the district between 65° 40' and 66° 37' N and longitude 2° 30' and 3° 30' east of Oslo. |
