| Forekomsten sees som en tunnel som går inn i fjellet på østsiden av Trengereid dalen. Sannsynligvis en del av driften ved risnes gruver. Kalken er båndet grålig og ganske mye oppblandet med silikater. Den er sterk uregelmessig foldet. Forekomsten ble ikke befart under jord så det er ikke sikkert om det er forbindelse med Risnes gruver på andre siden av dalen. Kjemisk analyse vier at kalken har et CaO go MgO innhold på 46.73 og 00.67%. Dette tilsvarer et kalkspatinnhold på ca. 81% |
