Forekomsten ligger 2-3,5 km sørvest for Ulveryggen. En rekke synker og mindre skjerp finnes langs en sterkt deformert sone i amfibolitt, og mineraliseringene kan følges over en lengde av ca. 1,5 km med retning ca. NØ-SV. Forekomsten ligger sørøst for Bratthammer og det skal være drevet en vel 100 m lang stoll fra Bratthammer og inn under Skifergangen. I dette hovedskjerpet opptrer flere linseforma/boudinerte kvartsganger som er opptil 1 m mektige. Gangene fører inneslutninger av sidesteinen som er amfibolitt, og mellom linsene finnes svært forskifra/skjærdeformert amfibolitt. I kvartsgangene finnes mindre mengder kloritt, karbonat, både beige og bleik rosa farge, og svart turmalin. Middelskornet kobberkis danner strenger og aggregater i grovkornet kvarts, og er dels anrika langs kontakten til amfibolitten. finnes både grovkornet, uorientert karbonat og fin- til middelskornet, båndet/foliert karbonat. Sistnevnte representerer skjærdefor |

En synk med vegger 2x2 m ligger 25 m vest for vannkanten. Kobbermineraliserte biter av kvarts finnes på tippen, men selve kvartsgangen er ikke blotta ved synken. Nordøst for synken finnes en rekke kvartsganger/-linser i en sone med skifrig grønnstein som antas å være ca. 5 m mektig. De svakt sulfidmineraliserte gangene er subparallelle skifrigheten og opptrer gjerne stjert-om-stjert. |

Skjerpet består av en opptil 3 m dyp grøft med sidevegger 2x1,2 m i skifrig amfibolitt. Noe malakitt og korte strenger med kobberkis og svovelkis finnes i denne, som også hyppig fører bånd med karbonatlinser. Hydrotermal kvarts er ikke observert. I nordvest finnes massiv amfibolitt.vet en vel 100 m lang stoll fra Bratthammer og inn under Skifergangen. I dette hovedskjerpet opptrer flere linseforma/boudinerte kvartsganger som er opptil 1 m mektige. Gangene fører inneslutninger av sidesteinen som er amfibolitt, og mellom linsene finnes svært forskifra/skjærdeformert amfibolitt. Skjerpet er en synk med sidevegger 2x2,5 m og det er minst 8 m ned til vannspeilet. Synken er usikra og med steile vegger representerer den derfor en risiko. Den er anlagt i en sterkt skifrig ambibolitt og kun en smal, 5 cm bred, kvartsåre med svak kobberkismineralisering er blottet. Det er trolig at denne synken skulle drives ned til stollen som ble påbegynt fra Bratthammer-forekomsten. seforma/boudinerte kvartsganger som er opptil 1 m mektige. Gangene fører inneslutninger av sidesteinen som er amfibolitt, og mellom linsene finnes svært forskifra/skjærdeformert amfibolitt. I kvartsgangene finnes mindre mengder kloritt, karbonat, både beige og bleik rosa farge, og svart turmalin. Middelskornet kobberkis danner strenger og aggregater i grovkornet kvarts, og er dels anrika langs kontakten til amfibolitten. |
