Forekomsten ble mutet i 1912 og det ble drevet en 4x2 m stor synk som sannsynligvis er ca 15 m dyp. Synken er vannfylt. I veggene står en massiv, fin- til middelskornet amfibolitt. Ca 1 m mektig sone i synken er en lysere amfibolitt med høyere feltspatinnhold. Amfibolitten fører finfordelt disseminasjon av magnetkis (5%), svovelkis (1%), kobberkis og muligens pentlanditt (prøve 01-06). Området er overdekket, og tipp og skjerp er overgrodd, så det er vanskelig å uttale seg om mineraliseringens størrelse og form.
