Malmen dannes av foldefortykninger i en synform som kommer inn fra Ørnevatn-Furuneset. To adskilte malmkropper finnes, den ene av disse har vært drevet før krigen (ett nivå). Tynne malmsoner og hornblendegneis strekker seg NV-over ned til Langfjorden. Malmareal: 8000 m2. Malmsonen er blottet litt øst for kraftlinje over minst 12 m mektighet. Det er grøftet litt lenger vest. Båndingen har hovedretning og -fall 150°/80°, men varierer en del - også fall mot ØNØ. Få meter mot NØ er et større brudd, en 6 m høy skjæring, i østskrenten, som ble drevet før krigen (en mulig tipp er helt overgrodd). Her er blottet en minst 6 m mektig, relativt flattliggende malmsone. |
