Mineraliseringen ligger SØ for Nosfjellet, like ved sørenden av et lite tjern. Nær grensen mellom lys granittisk gneis (i vest) og amfibolitt (i øst) opptrer i den granittiske gneisen et opptil 0.5 m mektig lag med 4 - 5 magnetittbånd med noe svovelkis (prøve 01) av noen få cm mektighet.
