Ved sørenden av Kaffikjelvatnet, 15 m fra lite tjern, vises i en liten blotning 1 - 1.5 m mektig finkornet kvartsbåndet (svak bånding) magnetitt-mineralisering med litt svovelkis (prøve 01) i amfibolitt. I heng, 2 m over, er det blottet granittpegmatitt. Lengre ØNØ ("skjerp 1") har Iversen (1990) observert en (sannsynligvis) annen malmhorisont med over 30 % Fe magn. og mektighet over 10 m.
