En dypanomali sør for Moltebærnesets hovedmalm ble boret i 1980, og avslørte en rekke mindre malmhorisonter ned til en dybde på 150 m. Med hensyn på drift var undersøkelsen negativ. Hovedforekomsten har et meget begrenset potensiale uten tapping av Ørnevatn. Malmareal: 8700 m2. Gehalt 25 - 35 % Fe magn.
