Nederst i Jarfjord gneiskompleks finnes en mørk grønn amfibolitt som ofte har kvartsbåndet jernmalm. På Lyngberget kan en slik amfibolitt med 2 - 3 m mektig kvartsbåndet magnetitt-mineralisering følges over en Ø-V strøklengde på vel 2 km.
