| Description |
| Bergarten er trondhjemitt. Den skiller seg litt ut i forhold til de mer kjente trondhjemitter hvor det er brudd (Støren, Tolga, Toset etc.). De mørke mineralene opptrer over noe større felter i denne, slik at den får et spettet utseende. Bruddet er et prøvebrudd helt i oppstartfasen. Driveren, Almås Maskin AS, tenker å produsere murestein herfra. Dette er et entreprenørfirma, og de planlegger å drive steinbruddet i tider med lite oppdrag i entreprenørvirksomheten. |

| Bruddet ligger like inntil RV30 (på nordsiden). En ny vei går i 50-100 m lengde parallelt med riksveien mellom to uttakssteder. |
