| Description |
| Bergarten er en grå og hvitspettet, relativt grovkornet gneis som i deler av bruddet spalter i tykkelser som egner seg til murestein. Den er delvis sterkt foliert og oppsprukket og det aller meste av utsprengt masse blir knust til grus og pukk. |
| Location |
| Bruddet ligger likke inntil E39. Fra der en kommer i land fra brua fra Valsøya er det 2,7 km til bruddet. |
