| Beskrivelse |
| Bergarten er en mørk, middelskornet gneis med ganske høyt innhold av granat. Granat opptrer i inntil 5 mm store røde korn. Den har parallelle spalteplan med avstand 5 cm og oppover og burde egne seg for uttak til murestein. Lokaliteten er i et øde område uten bebyggelse og i rimelig nærhet til Bodø-området. Dette er gunstige faktorer for evetuell etablering av et brudd. |

| Den aktuelle lokaliteten er ei veiskjæring ved RV17 i Ertenvågdalen like sør for kommunegrensa mellom Bodø og Gildeskål. |
