| Description |
| Bergarten er en middels- til finkornet amfibolittisk gneis med gode spalteegenskaper som kan gjøre den interessant for bryting av murestein. Rust på spalteflatene indikerer et visst jerninnhold. Lokaliteten ligger i et ubebodd område; det er 1 km til nærmeste hus. En negativ faktor, imidlertid, er gneisens fall motsatt terrengets helning. |

| Den aktuelle lokaliteten er ved RV17 800 m vest for kommunegrensa mellom Gildeskål og Meløy. Fjellet Ramnefloget stuper bratt ned mot sjøen fra 900 m høyde SØ for lokaliteten. |
