Mineraliseringen er undersøkt med en 4x3m2, nå vannfylt, synk. Mineraliseringen er ikke blottet. Fra tippen ses sterkt forrustet (pga. mye magnetkis, kobberkis og svovelkis) middelskornet massiv magnetittmalm (prøve 01, 02 og 03). Fra stuffmaterialet framgår et komplekst forhold mellom malm og sidestein, som er middelskornet mangeritt, med innfingringer og inneslutninger av mangeritt i massivmalmen (prøve 04).
