Lalia er det østligste skjerp i den over 20 km lange skarn/marmor-sonen som strekker seg fra Båsmo og østover til ca. 500 m øst for Lalia skjerp. Skjerpet ligger i elveskrenten NV for elva. Bergarten er middelskornet kalkspatmarmor med litt muskovitt. Malmsonen er opptil 25 cm mektig. I den mektigste delen er det noen innblandete lag av marmor med sulfid-disseminasjon. Malmen er sonert med ca. 5 cm mektig massiv kobberkis i liggen (prøve 01). I sentrum dominerer magnetkis (03), mens hengen igjen er anriket på kobberkis - dog ikke så mye som i liggen. Store deler av malmsonen er kvartsittisk (04), sannsynligvis som følge av silifisering. Ellers er det endel kalkspat, muskovitt og albitt i malmen. I nærheten av malmen har marmoren sulfid-disseminasjon (02). |
