| Description |
| Bergarten er en middelskornet, lys, båndet kvartsitt. Den har vekslende hvite og lys grønne bånd, og konsentrasjon av muskovittlag gjør den spaltbar. Spalbarheten er imidlertid ganske dårlig, og det er relativt stor avstand mellom muskovittbåndene, slik at steinen som tas ut blir ganske stor. Men lyse og vekslende farger vil gi murer av steinen et tiltalende utseende. Grunnet dårlig spaltbarhet må en god del skrotstein påregnes ved bryting. Det er kun murestein som kan produseres her. |
