| Description |
| Bergartene rundt Kongsvinger er vesentlig gneiser av prekambrisk alder. I dette bruddet er det to gneistyper: 1) Rød type meg mørke (amfibol) "spetter" og ganske bra lagdeling. 2) Grønn type med dårlig lagdeling. Hovedproduktet fra dette bruddet er forskjellige fraksjoner av knust bergart - fra grus til pukk. Men i tillegg sorteres ut endel blokk av den røde gneisen som brukes til grovere murer, f.eks. forstøtningsmurer i forbindelse med veibygging. |
