| Description |
| Bergarten er den samme lagdelte kvartsitten som ved Stigen 1, men denne ligger høyere i stratigrafien og er ikke helt lik hva utseende og egenskaper angår. Her er mye rust på lag- og bruddflater, som indikerer et visst kisinnhold, og den spalter generelt tykkere. Det resulterer i større blokk som egner seg best for maskinmuring, og såkalt håndstein blir det mindre av. Oppsprekkingen er heller ikke like gunstig her som i Stigen 1. Imidlertid ligger dette bruddet i et noe flatere terreng som er velegnet for steinbrudd. |
