The Hammarfjell-Grøntuva zone a c. 4 km long horizon with sulphides associated with felsic metatuffites. Mineralizations consist of banded pyrite ore with bands enriched in sphalerite and galena or chalcopyrite. At places is a breccia-type where sphalerite with or without chalcopyrite and galena is the breccia fill between pyrite-banded fragments. The thickness of the ore zone is 1-5 m.
