| Description |
| Bergarten er lys kvartsittskifer med innslag av mørkere bånd (amfibol og biotitt). Det er god spaltbarhet, og flatene er ganske lyse og pene. Vekslende mørke og lyse bånd gir murene et dekorativt utseende, og dermed pene murer. Det er kun murestein som tas ut her. |

| Bruddet ligger ved Espelandsvatnet, midt mellom Ulvik og Granvin. Vei 572 går langs nordsiden av vatnet, og bruddet går ned til veien. |
