Tømmerfjellet er en 10m brei magnetittimpregnasjon, glimmerskifer, med 8.6 vektprosent magnetitt. Lauvsletta er 0.8 - 1m tykk grovkornet magnetittmalm. Tykkelse Lengde Dybde Tonnasje (sp.v.3.0) Tømmerfjellet 10m 200m 50m 300000 tonn. Lauvsletta 1m 60m 20m 3600 tonn. 3 kjemiske analyser fra 1977 ( Norsk Jernverk ) viser: Fe-tot. Fe-magn. TiO2 P S vekt% mt. Lauvsletta 28.4% 22.2% 0.43% 0.34% 0.012% 30.7% Tømmerfjellet 1 10.4% 6.6% 0.71% 0.30% 0.003% 9.1% Tømmerfjellet 2 11.0% 5.9% 0.91% 0.12% <0.003% 8.1% Forekomstene er en del av et drag som antas å danne en stor bue rundt Håfjellstuva. Kalkglimmerskiferen er innleiret i granatglimmerskiferen. Hovedskjerpet består av forvitrede skjæringer. Ingen spesielt stor tipp er å se. Mineraliseringen er svak og manganfattig. Prøvetaking: 1 prøve (type + ref) Ved lite vann nedenfor Lauvsletta finnes et lite skjerp (består kun av løse blokker). Mineraliseringen sitter i granatglimmerskifer og er meget svak. Prøvetaking: 1 prøve (type + ref)
