Hesthaugen magnetitt-mineralisering er 3 skjerp langs en 125m strøklengde der det nordligste skjerpet er den største røskegrøft (se "Mindre skjerp"). Analyser viser at MnO-innholdet øker sørover fra Hesthaugen til Sagvann. Mineraliseringen utgjøres av et ujevnt mt.-impregnert skarn. Tonnasjen er: Tykkelse Lengde Dyp Tonnasje (sp.v.3,1) -------------------------------------------------------------- Hesthaugen 2m 125m 50m 38750 tonn 6 prøver fra Hesthaugen - Sagvannskjerpene er analysert ved Norsk Jernverk lab 1979, og viser: Fe tot. Fe magn.
