I en bjørkelund rett vest for Okstjern finnes en oppstikkende rusten knaus (5 x 5 m) med noe utsprengt materiale. Området omkring er fullstendig overdekket av løsmasser. Opplysninger om skjerpeaktiviteten finnes ikke. Mineraliseringen er knyttet til en amfibolitt, men blokker med granatglimmerskifer finnes også i skjerpet. Ulike typer mineraliseringer; svovelkis-båndet magnetittmalm med mye granat til semi-massiv magnetkis-svovelkis malm.
