Skjerp er ikke påvist i området. Mineraliseringen er et eksempel på svak jernsulfiddisseminasjon som er vanlig innenfor den dels grafittførende Røyrvikfyllitten. En dels fet grafittfyllitt er sterkt rusten i partier i vegskjæringer over flere ti-metre. Magnetkisinnholdet er lavt, men det finnes endel svovelkis både i bergarter og i en rekke kvartsårer, som opptrer parallelt skifrigheten. Inneholder < 0.01 % av alle basemetallene.
