Description

Smiehidlaren er den sørøstligste gruva i feltet og ligger i fortsettelsen av Bergs Minde I mot sørøst. Består av stoller inn mot nordøst fra et platå ca. 30 m høyere i terrenget enn Bergs Minde I.

Kobbergruvene i Atramadal befinner seg innenfor et område på ca. 0.18 km2 (650 x 250 m) øst for Kvitebergsvatnet. Gruvene var i drift i flere perioder, først ved Lilledal Værk 1654-1673, deretter ved Christiansgaves Værk 1760-1785 og 1851-1860. Lysaker Kemiske Fabrikk drev gruvene på svovelkis mellom 1861 og 1919. Etter det har det ikke vært noen drift. Kobberkisen ble fraktet med pram over Kvitebergsvatnet og videre ned til fjorden der den ble smeltet (ved Slagget). Svovelkisen ble fraktet til England og Tyskland. De største gruvene var Lykkens Prøve (Stolpegruva), Dalemyrgruvene, Guldgruben (Dronninggruva) og Hillerhuset med Blikfeldts stoll.
