Copper-mineralised dolostone boulders occur in an area dominated by boulders of Skoadduvarri sandstone and greywacke at Rassaladdot on Flintfjellet. The boulder field was discovered by Scandinavian Resources in 2011 (Wilberg 2011). The discovery boulder is approximately 1 m3 in size and comprises partly brecciated dolostone and chert/jasper with digenite, bornite and chalcocite veins and aggregates. Locally, hematite veinlets are associated the jasper lenses. In addition to copper (> 40 % Cu), the mineralisation is also enriched in Ag and Bi. Similar boulders occur dispersed in the boulder field over an area of 200 x 1000 m southwards to Austre Nikkevatnet (Nihkeluobbaljavri). The Cu-mineralised boulders resemble the Cu-mineralisation that occur elsewhere in the Storviknes Formation although jasper and hematite are more common in this area than usually.
