Flere horisonter med assosiert vasskis og jaspis finnes i Svinsåsmarka i den sørvestlige delen Løkken-området. De ligger i den øvre sekvensen med grønnstein og kan følges i flere kilometers lengde (Grenne & Slack 2003). En av disse er Halsetåsen som er et større jaspisbrudd i den østre delen av Halsetåsen. Jaspis ble tidligere tatt ut derfra som tilsetning i asfalt. Vasskishorisonten er ikke blottet lengre, men en større blokk med båndet vasskis ble prøvetatt. Den består av veksling mellom bånd og laminer med svært finkornet pyritt, kvarts og kloritt-stilpnomelan.
