Forekomsten består av en vannfyllt synk med sidevegger 4 x 4 m i vestskråningen av en mindre knaus. En 5 m lang røskegrøft finnes vest for synken lengre ned i skråningen. Finkornet amfibolitt med foliasjon 188¿/50¿ er blottet på knausen. En 20 cm mektig massiv sulfidsone med amfibolitt i heng og ligg er blottet i grøfta og står også igjen i synken. Kontaktsonen er anriket i biotitt og kloritt. Ulike malmtyper er prøvetatt fra tippen; massiv, dels båndet magnetkis, magnetkis-kobberkis breksjemalm med amfibolittfragmenter og massiv magnetkis-magnetitt.
