Forekomsten ligger ved en tursti som kan følges opp sørover fra gården Havdal. Det består av en 10-12 m lang dagskjæring langs nordsida av en NØ-SV orientert skrent som er opptil 3 m høy. Skrenten består av sterkt rustfarget, flattliggende grønnstein med tynne sulfidførende årer og svak disseminasjon av svovelkis. Tippen er svært overgrodd og mer massiv sulfidmineralisering ble ikke påvist.
