Det er ikke foretatt røsking på forekomsten, men en mutingsbolt ble funnet ved et lite tjern 300 m øst for Skjerivatnet. På en liten blotning opptrer en 10 cm mektig massiv magnetitt-mineralisering med smale bånd av svovel- kis (prøve 01 og 02) med kvartskeratofyr i ligg og hornblendeskifer i heng. 5 m over er det grovkornet hornblendegabbro (03).
