Mineraliseringen ligger ved Erslandsvatnets nordøstlige bredd, like øst for den lille halvøya Litlaneset og rett under den østligste af to kraftlinjer som krysser sjøen. Det må være dette stedet Olsen (1885) omtaler som "Ertsland". Åras orientering er 15/58°Ø, tykkelsen ved stollens inngang er 40-45 cm, men øker til ca. 70 cm et par m inne i stollen. I stollens endevegg ses ingen kvarts, og det antas derfor at åra er linseformet. Vertsbergarten er basalt, orientering på lagningen er 102/72°S. Kvartsen er grå til hvit og inneholder litt svovelkis samt et finkornet, sølvgrått mineral som forekommer i en 5 mm tykk åre og sannsynligvis er blyglans. Innholdet av malmmineraler er lavt, mindre end 1%.
