| Forekomsten består av et lite skjerp på 1x1 m i tett løvskog. Den ligger i brattskråning vest for fylkesveien mellom Gransherad og Rjukan, og ble påvist omkring 1918. Vertsbergarten er vært finkornet, finlaminert kvartsitt. Malmmineraliseringene består av uregelmessige klumper med nodulær hematitt. Kulene er opptil 10 cm i diameter, og forekomsten er fullstendig uten økonomisk interesse. |
