Mindre undersøkelser skal være utført på et gammelt skjerp i 1907. Det ligger like vest for jernbanelinja på østsida av Bråfjorden. Det består av vegger på 6x1,5 m og er opptil 1 m dypt og fylt med søppel. En finkornet granittisk gneis og pegmatitt med svært svak disseminasjon av pyritt finnes. Gneisen er relativt sterkt magnetisk, og tynne årer med finkornet magnetitt var trolig årsaken til skjerpingen. Forekomsten er fullstendig uten økonomisk interesse.
