Forekomsten befinner seg i tett granskog i lia om lag 370 m NV for Slystøyl. Forekomsten drevet med en ca. 6 m lang skjæring i ØSØ-VNV retning. Den er 1-1.5 m dyp og inntil 1 m bred. Skjæringen er dels vannfylt, så det er vanskelig å vite hvor dyp den egentlig er. Tipphaugen er totalt overgrodd. Mineralisering består av bornitt tilknyttet en kvartsdominert åre i en 0.5 m mektig granittisk pegmatitt. Det er også svak disseminasjon i pegmatitten. Pegmatitten inneholder grønnlig muskovitt. Retningen på pegmatitten er 280/45, mens foliasjon i omgivende grønnstein er 340/40.
