Skjerpet ligger på sørsiden, men nær toppen av Lomnesvola, ca 1000 m.o.h. Det består av en liten røskegrop, ca. 3 x 3 m i omriss og inntil 2 m dyp. Det er også en mindre røsk 6-7 m mot nordøst, ca. 2 m lang, 1 m bred og 1 m dyp. Mineraliseringen er svært fattig og består av enkelte spredte magnetkis- aggregater og tynne bånd med meget svak impregnasjon i form av streker med magnetkis. Mineraliseringen opptrer i en 2-2.5 m mektig kvartsittsone. Kvartsitten er båndet og består av grafittrik kvartsitt i heng som går over i granatholdig sericittisk kvartsitt mot ligg. Anhedrale granater opptrer tildels anriket i enkelte 1-2 cm tykke bånd i form av opptil 2-3 mm store korn. Sidebergart er psammittisk kvarts-muskovittskifer.
