| Historikk |
| Nordli-forekomsten ble oppdaget av Norsk Hydro AS i 1978, og var gjenstand for omfattende undersøkelser fram til 1983. I undersøkelsesperioden ble det i tillegg til geologisk detaljkartlegging av et område på mer enn 400 km2 utført omfattende bakkegeofysikk, boret 24 hull på til sammen 10200 m og samlet inn mer enn 6000 jordprøver. Borkjernene viste at forekomsten var en lavgehalting granitt-relatert molybdenitt-mineralisering som viser mange tilsvarende egenskaper med molybden-porfyr-systemer i de vestlige delene av USA. De totale reservene i Nordli-forekomsten er anslått å være ca 200 Mt 0,14% MoS2 med cut-off-grad på 0,05%. I 2008 var Nordli-forekomsten gjenstand for ytterligere undersøkelser av Intex Resources ASA. |
