O. Ø.: Kalkspatmarmoren er middels til finkornet og uren. Utpreget båndet og kraftig foldet. Området kraftig overdekket. Foliasjon tilnærmet N - S med fall 50° V. Prøve merket Ø 98 - 29. Prøvepunktet ligger midt i en vei. Snakket med grunneieren som ikke var kjent med at det hadde vært noen interesse for kalksteinen i dette området. Derimot hadde Rana gruver vært i området og leita etter jernmineralisering. Dagbok OØ 1998. I. L.: Forekomsten er befart av O. Ø. som har vurdert den som ikke interessant. Tilhører kalkdragene oppover i Dunderlandsdalen. Vanligvis er dette grå kalker og de er relativt urene med høy prosent uløst. Se Messingslett, Messingslettseter, Almli og Skredmoen. Kalkene av denne typen har 2-7 % uløst og er uren. Dolomitten på Skredmoen er den mest interessante og koordinatene som er satt inn på forekomsten ligger i dolomitten. Konklusjon: Kalken i forekomsten på Skredmoen er uren og kun av interesse som sementkalk. På Skredmoen finnes imidlertid også en ren og hvit dolomitt som er den samme som Nevernes-dolomitten.
