| I følge Broch (1934) skal Sandaker 3/Stordalen ligge i på østsiden av dalføret Stordalen ca. 1,5 km sørøst for Sandaker. Her skal det ligge et feltspatbrudd bortgjemt i skogen, 4-6 m bredt, 2-3 meter dypt. og 10 m langt i nordvest-skråningen av åsen ut mot det myrlendte dalføret. Gruva var i drift ca. 1986-97. Pegmatitten har en kvartskjerne med 0,5 meter brede krystaller av k-feltspat, langs yttergrensen er det en 30cm tykk randsone av albitt. |

| Nåværende koordinater plotter på NV på Gåseflohøgda og er ikke bekreftet. En mulig lokalitet i Stordalen som passer med beskrivelsen til Broch (1934) kan være EU89 UTM 32 637146 6593737. |

| In this publication, which is a sequel to Feltspat II and III by Olaf Andersen and Tom F.W. Barth, brief and exoteric descriptions and some information on production and history are given of about 180 individual feldspar, quartz, and mica deposits, all of them situated east of the river Glomma in south-eastern Norway. Particulars of purely geological or mineralogical interest are few; most of them are given as footnotes or in the preface, but the minerals of each deposit, exceot quartz, feldspar and mica, are listed. The deposits are cross cutting pegmatite dikes, with a northeastern strike and a steep dip. The dikes exhibit a marked zoning; moreover, they are remarkably free from rare minerals, the occurrences of which seems to be restricted almost entirely to the dikes near the Idefjord (Bohus) granite. |
