| Vest for Elvenes på sørsiden av Gratangsbotn krysser Salangen-kvartsitten fjorden. Selmer-Olsen (1959) beskrev at lagtykkelsen av de gode lag var en til to meter og med urene kvartsitter for øvrig. |
