| Description |
| Bergarten er en båndet gneis som spalter i 20-30 cm tykke plater som blir brukt til murestein. Endel er solgt til vegvesenet, men driveren av bruddet bruker selv det meste av utbrutt materiale til murer i nærområdet. Bruddet dekker et areal på mellom 7 og 8 mål. Avsenkningen antas i gjennomsnitt å være ca. 10 m, og utsprengt masse vil i så fall bli 70-80000 m3. |

| Bruddet ligger på nordsiden av riksvei 15 mellom Nordfjordeid og Måløy, like inntil veien. Avstand fra Norfjordeid er 17 km, og fra Stårheim ferjekai 800 m (vest for). |
