| Description |
| Bergarten er en relativt mørk granittisk øyegneis. Den spalter langs de mørke lagene som består av biotitt og amfibol, og lar seg knekke vinkelrett på lagningen, men en god del sprekker og svakhetssoner gjør skrotprosenten relativt høy. Skrotsteinen blir knust og brukt til andre formål, og muresteinsproduksjonen har etter hvert gått tilbake til fordel for pukk og grus. Bruddet dekker et areal på 12-13 mål. Terrenget stiger mot øst hvor også utvidelsesmulighetene er. Det vil ikke være ressursmangel på flere år, men om steinkvaliteten er god nok for muresteinsproduksjon er noe usikkert. |

| Bruddet ligger like SØ for Tingvoll sentrum, i et område som er regulert til industriformål. En vei tar av fra RV70 mot øst ved nordenden av Stølvatnet. Etter 500 m ender den i bruddet. |
