| Forekomsten ligger ca. 250 m sør for gården Nedre Fiskløs, mellom veien og en bekk øst for denne. Området har tydelig vært ryddet i nyere tid og en eventuelt synk er trolig gjenfylt. I en over 20 m lang skjæring i vest finnes 5-10 cm brede, nord-sør orienterte kvartsårer som dels består av hulromsfyllinger, i en amfibolittisk gneis. Mineraliseringene fortsetter nordover mot bekken med en 1,2 m bred sone hvor pyritt danner drusefyllinger omgitt av kvartsbreksje. Området for øvrig er rikt på større sulfidmineraliserte blokker spredt utover. De viser at forekomsten består av en opptil 1 m bred kvartsgang med mørk kvartsbreksje og rike bånd med sinkblende og kobberkis forekommer. |
