Small excavation pit with approximately 1m x 2m x 1m, where the mineralised portion is only accessible through a small gab under a ridge. Tens of centimeter llenses of ore are also visible along the trail. The host rock is a variably altered monzonite/syenite with 1-2cm feldspar crystals and interstitial mafic minerals as fine-grained clusters (around 10-15%). The mafic minerals are dominated by olivine, augite, pigeonite, Fe-oxides (magnetite and ilmenite) and apatite. The alteration degree varies across few meters, and more altered portions develop a brownish aspect relative to the white colour of more pristine counterparts. The mineralisation displays a sharp contact with the host rock and consists of a  30-40cm wide fine-grained magnetite-apatite-dominated vein. Some disseminated sulphides (less than 5%) are observed and consist mainly of pyrite. Two whole-rock analyses indicate concentration of P2O5 between 4 and 5 wt%, 6-10 wt% TiO2 and 33-48 wt% Fe2O3tot.
