| Like ved sjøen, litt nord for Folderøy havn, ligger en opptil 70 cm tykk og minst 5 m lang kvartsåre. Den fortsetter ut i sjøen, men synes å kile ut, orienteringen er 0/42Ø. Åra inneholder litt finkornet svovelkis som forekommer i uregelmessige 1 cm tykke årer. Enkelte muskovittrike partier, opptil 10 cm store og ytterst uregelmessige, ses også. I liggen finnes enkelte tynne kvartsårer med litt svovelkis. Det var boret et hull i åra og sprengt ut et stykke, et skjerp var det dog ikke snakk om. Litt doleritt med svak disseminasjon av svovelkis forekommer både over og under åra, som ellers ligner kvartsårene i Lykling. Vertsbergarten er granitt. Åra vurderes uinteressant. |
